MATTRESS SPECIFICATION
OPEN COIL
Classic:
This mattress features a meduim tension open coil spring unit with
a heavy duty edge support frame, covered on both sides with two layers
of fillings, and upholstered with striped cotton ticking and tufted
in the traditional way.
Classic Supreme:
The same spring unit as the classic, but with additional layers of
finer fillings, providing a supportive yet softer mattress.
POCKET SPRUNG
Dream Sleep:
This soft mattress contains a high quality pocket sprung unit of 1258x1.40g
nested springs in a single layer, contains layers of fine white cotton
felt, horse hair and polyester. Upholstered in the finest
damask and tufted in the traditional way
Backcare Deluxe:
A firm pocket sprung single layer spring unit of 1258x1.60g nested
springs with layers of hair, cotton and polyester. Upholstered
in the finest damask and tufted in the traditional way.
Morpheus Deluxe:
A medium pocket sprung single layer unit of 1258x1.40g nested springs
with layers of hair, cotton and polyester. Upholstered in finest
damask and tufted in the traditional way.
Morpheus Regal:
A medium feel pocket sprung 8" deep single layer spring unit of
1024x1.60g nested springs, with layers of hair on hessian, horse
hair and lambs wool mixture and cotton felt. Upholstered in
the finest damask with two rows of hand stitching, multiple air
vents and tufted in the traditional way.
Elgin Supreme:
This has 1487 springs, a layer of hair on hessian, covered with proofed
fabric, with two layers of white cotton felt and a layer of pure English
lambs wool, upholstered in finest damask with two rows of hand-stitching
and multiple air vents. Either a soft, medium or firm
feel can be provided.
Elgin Imperial:
This superb
mattress has a double layer of springs ( over 2000 in a standard
5' 0" ), layers of hair on hessian, horsehair and lambs wool mixture
hand laid, proofed fabric, cotton felt and pure English lambs wool
to give luxurious comfort and support. Upholstered in finest
damask with hand stitched roll edge and multiple air vents.
Either a soft, medium or firm feel can be provided.
Elgin Supreme Duo & Elgin Imperial Duo:
These mattresses
are produced using the same fillings and spring count as the standard
mattress, but each half of the mattress has a different spring gauge
e.g. one half soft (1.4 gauge) and the other half firm (1.8 gauge)
or any combination that would give partners of a different weight
the correct feel and support that both should expect from a high
quality mattress.
SPECIAL SIZES
We can supply any of the above mattresses in non standard sizes, any
shape or size
Including specialities such as; Cut out corners for four poster beds,
radius corners to fit bow ended beds,or odd sizes for boats and caravans.
EXTRA COSTS
For non standard mattress & base prices add 15% for a non
standard
width or length, or 25% for both.
For zipping of mattresses please add £45 per pair.
